Vonage VoIP to Come Bundled with HP and Compaq Computers

Pure-play VoIP provider, Vonage, has announced a new marketing partnership with Hewlett-Packard, which will see the Vonage software offered along with HP and Compaq-branded desktop and notebook computers. Customers who purchase a new computer will get a special discount on the VoIP provider`s premium unlimited calling plan for residential subscribers. Vonage CDs and pamphlets will be bundled with each new machine sold, encouraging buyers to give the popular broadband phone service a try. In a related story, Vonage has announced that 90% of its VoIP telephony subscribers are now equipped with Enhanced 911 coverage, allowing emergency operators to accurately pinpoint a caller`s exact location whenever required to do so.
