Cinergy MetroNet Brings On-Screen Caller ID to IPTV Service

11/09/2008

Indiana-based fiber-optic telecom operator, Cinergy MetroNet, has added Integra5’s TV caller ID feature to its residential IPTV service.

The caller ID feature is being offered at no extra cost to triple-play (voice/data/video) subscribers, or $2.95/month to customers that use voice and video only.

Customers can access a ‘network address book’ on Cinergy MetroNet’s web portal to organize contacts for on-screen notifications, and customize them with nicknames and photos. It is also possible to view a log of recent calls, and manage call settings using this feature.

“Our investment in an all-fiber optic network represents our commitment to providing an unparalleled user experience for our customers,” commented Cinergy MetroNet vice president, Kevin Stelmach. “Integra5`s Converged Services Platform allows us to consistently deliver on this commitment through advanced, value-added services that our subscribers can personalize and control starting with caller ID on TV today and offering the flexibility to meet our subscribers` changing communications preferences with the addition of other new real-time communications services across TVs, PCs, and landline and mobile phones.”
