Telus Expected to Launch BlackBerry Tour, HTC Snap, and HTC Touch Pro 2

Canada’s telecom regulator, the CRTC, will hold public hearings this week into the traffic management practices of major internet service providers. The Canadian Association of Internet Providers, which represents independent ISPs, alleged last year that the country’s leading DSL provider, Bell Canada, was discriminating against the customers of smaller rivals by slowing down certain types of traffic on its network. The CRTC ultimately rejected the complaint, but called for public hearings on the broader issue of net neutrality, and what forms of traffic management should be acceptable.
