Bell Aliant Introduces Fiber-Optic TV and Internet Service in Fredericton, NB

18/09/2009

Canadian cell phone operator, Bell Mobility, has started offering the Samsung Reclaim, an environmentally-friendly smartphone first released in the U.S. last month.

The Reclaim is made primarily from recycled materials and comes with an energy-efficient charger. It has all the same features we’ve come to expect from a consumer smartphone, including a sliding QWERTY keyboard, 2-megapixel digital camera with camcorder, music and multimedia capability, and up to 32GB of expandable microSD memory.

Launching the Reclaim should serve to improve the ecological image of Bell Mobility, which finished dead last in a recent ‘greenness’ study of major North American carriers.

The Samsung Reclaim is now available in ‘Earth Green’ and ‘Ocean Blue’ colour schemes at a retail cost of $220. The price drops to $50 with a three-year Bell Mobility contract.
