Telus Posts 2% Drop in Third-Quarter Profits

LG’s first Google Android-based smartphone, the LG Eve, has been introduced by Rogers Wireless in the Canadian market. The new device features a 3-inch touchscreen display, sliding QWERTY keyboard, 5-megapixel digital camera, and built-in Wi-Fi and GPS. It is specifically designed for social networking enthusiasts, and allows users to access Facebook, Twitter, and Bebo from a single application. As an Android-based device, the LG Eve comes with a wide range of preinstalled Google applications, including Google Search, Google Maps, and Google Latitude. It is now available for just $49.99 on a two-year Rogers Wireless contract.
