Burnaby, British Columbia-based wireless giant, Telus Mobility, plans to launch a Canadian version of the Motorola Droid known as the “Motorola Milestone” on January 26, according to information leaked by an industry insider.
“I`ve received confirmation from my Telus sales rep that the Milestone will be scheduled to launch January 26th on the Telus network; provided that it launches ‘on time’,” the anonymous tipster was quoted as saying.
The Milestone will operate on Telus’ new HSPA+ mobile broadband network, which offers download speeds of up to 7.2-Mbps.
