Mobilicity, a new Canadian wireless operator which launched services in Toronto last month, is getting ready to launch its own mobile content portal.
The portal will grant wireless access to games, music, ringtones, news, and information services. The storefront will be powered by Wmode, a leading managed services provider with offices in Calgary, Toronto, and Bern, Switzerland.
“Mobilicity will offer a wide breadth of mobile content when we launch this spring through our partnership with Wmode,” said the carrier’s vice president of marketing, Sara Moore. “Wmode is delivering a complete turn-key managed service solution to provide our customers with a compelling multimedia platform and add even more value to the Mobilicity experience.”
Pricing information for the portal has yet to be released.
