Senate Committee Advocates Extension of Broadband Internet Access

12/06/2010

Virgin Mobile Canada has become the first North American wireless carrier to offer the HTC Legend smartphone.

The Legend features a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, 5-megapixel flash camera, and Android 2.1 operating system, as well as built-in 3G, Wi-Fi, and GPS functionality.

Virgin Mobile is selling the HTC Legend for $79.99 on a three-year voice and data agreement, or $349.99 without a contract.

Bell Mobility is also expected to offer the Legend in the near future, as is U.S. wireless giant, Sprint Nextel, which plans to offer a modified CDMA-based version of the device.
