Wind Mobile Extends $150 Credit to Bell and Telus Users

Canadian wireless operator, Telus Mobility, will offer the Android-based HTC Desire smartphone for just $79.99 on a three-year service contract, according to a retail inventory screenshot leaked on MobileSyrup.com. The HTC Desire will feature a 3.7-inch LCD display, 1-GHz Snapdragon processor, 5-megapixel digital camera, and Google Android 2.1 operating system. The Desire, manufactured by Taiwan-based HTC, is already available in Australia and parts of Europe. Telus Mobility will likely be the first North American carrier to offer the device.
