Wind Preparing to Launch BlackBerry Pearl & Motorola Milestone

Canada’s leading cell phone carrier, Rogers Wireless, has launched a budget-priced Android-based smartphone for just $29.99 on a three-year contract. The LG Loop GT540 device features a sizable 3-inch touchscreen display and weighs just 115 grams. It comes equipped with built-in Wi-Fi and GPS, a 3.0-megapixel digital camera and video recorder, and a 32GB microSD card slot. The LG Loop comes with Google Android 1.6 preinstalled and LG is promising to upgrade it to Android 2.1 in the future. It is available for $299.99 off contract.
