Bell Mobility Launches Montreal Canadiens Smartphone App

British cell phone operator, 3, has launched Research In Motion’s BlackBerry Torch 9800 device, bringing the BlackBerry 6 operating system to the UK for the first time. The Torch 9800 features a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, sliding QWERTY keyboard, and a 5-megapixel digital camera with auto-focus and video recording capabilities. 3 is selling it for £249 on a two-year service contract. Service for the device costs £30 per month, which includes 2,000 minutes of talk time, 5,000 text messages, and 1GB of internet data bandwidth. The Torch 9800 has been available in the U.S. since mid-August, and in Canada since September 29.
